Education and Prevention 6.1 The policy will be discussed and put forward for adoption on site at a meeting of all workers.
Erosion Prevention and Control Purchaser’s Operations shall be conducted reasonably to minimize soil erosion. Equipment shall not be operated when ground conditions are such that excessive damage will result. Purchaser shall adjust the kinds and intensity of erosion control work done to ground and weather condi- tions and the need for controlling runoff. Erosion control work shall be kept current immediately preceding ex- pected seasonal periods of precipitation or runoff. If Purchaser fails to do seasonal erosion control work prior to any seasonal period of precipitation or runoff, Forest Service may temporarily assume responsibility for the work and any unencumbered deposits hereunder may be used by Forest Service to do the work. If needed for such work, Purchaser shall make additional deposits on request by Forest Service. Any money deposited or used for this purpose shall be treated as cooperative deposits under B4.218.
Workplace Violence Prevention and Crisis Response (applicable to any Party and any subcontractors and sub-grantees whose employees or other service providers deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services): Party shall establish a written workplace violence prevention and crisis response policy meeting the requirements of Act 109 (2016), 33 VSA §8201(b), for the benefit of employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party shall, in preparing its policy, consult with the guidelines promulgated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for Preventing Workplace Violence for Healthcare and Social Services Workers, as those guidelines may from time to time be amended. Party, through its violence protection and crisis response committee, shall evaluate the efficacy of its policy, and update the policy as appropriate, at least annually. The policy and any written evaluations thereof shall be provided to employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party will ensure that any subcontractor and sub-grantee who hires employees (or contracts with service providers) who deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services, complies with all requirements of this Section.
Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Control (a) The Hospital in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) shall develop, establish and put into effect, musculoskeletal prevention and control measures, procedures, practices and training for the health and safety of employees.
BREACH DISCOVERY AND NOTIFICATION 23 1. Following the discovery of a Breach of Unsecured PHI, CONTRACTOR shall notify 24 COUNTY of such Breach, however both parties agree to a delay in the notification if so advised by a 25 law enforcement official pursuant to 45 CFR § 164.412.
Management of Special and Technical Environment Each certificated support person demonstrates an acceptable level of performance in managing and organizing the special materials, equipment and environment essential to the specialized programs.
Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended. Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually to maintain standards of safety and health in the Hospital in order to prevent accidents, injury, and illness. ected or Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative sel appointed by the Union from amongst Bargaining Unit employees. Such Committee shall identify potential dangers and means of improving health and safety programs, and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions related to safety and health. The Hospital agrees to co-operate reasonably in providing necessary information to enable the Committee its functions. Meetings shall be held every second month or more frequently at the call of the Chair if required. The Committee shall maintain minutes of meetings and make the Same available for review. Any representative appointed or accordancewith hereof shall serve for a term of one (1) calendar year from the date of appointment which may be renewed for further of one (1) year. Time off for such to attend meetings of the Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee in accordance with the foregoing shall be granted, and any attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular as a result of such The Union agrees to endeavour to obtain the membership in the observation of all safety rules and practices. Safety Shoes The Hospital will provide sixty dollars ($60.00) annually effective April and eighty dollars ($80.00) effective April to each employee who is required by the Hospital, as delineated below, to wear safety footwear during the of his duties. Cooperation on Preventing End User Fraud The Parties agree to cooperate fully with one another to investigate, minimize, prevent, and take corrective action in cases of fraud.
Research, Science and Technology Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in research, science and technology, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to build on existing agreements already in place for cooperation on research, science and technology; (b) to encourage, where appropriate, government agencies, research institutions, universities, private companies and other research organizations in the Parties to conclude direct arrangements in support of cooperative activities, programs or projects within the framework of this Agreement, specially related to trade and commerce; and (c) to focus cooperative activities towards sectors where mutual and complementary interests exist, with special emphasis on information and communication technologies and software development to facilitate trade between the Parties. 2.
