Common use of Building Permit Clause in Contracts

Building Permit. Tenant shall be responsible for obtaining a building permit ("Building Permit") for the Tenant Improvements. To the extent requested by Tenant, Landlord shall, at no cost or expense to Landlord, assist Landlord in obtaining the Building Permit. Tenant, the Architect or the Contractor shall submit the Approved Construction Plans to the appropriate governmental body for plan checking and a Building Permit.

Building Permit. Tenant shall be responsible for obtaining a building permit ("“Building Permit"”) for the Tenant Improvements, if necessary. To the extent requested by Tenant, Landlord shallshall assist Tenant in obtaining the Building Permit, at no cost or expense to Landlord, assist Landlord in obtaining the Building Permit. Tenant, the Architect or the Contractor shall submit the Approved Construction Plans to the appropriate governmental body for plan checking and a Building Permit.

Landlord, shall cause to be made any change in the Construction Plans necessary to obtain the Building Permit.

The Construction Plans that the Building Permit has been granted for shall hereinafter be known as the “Final Construction Plans”.
