Common use of Building Representation Clause in Contracts

Building Representation. 8.1 The principal shall recognize the Federation building/school representative as the official representative of the Federation in the school. 8.2 The Committee of Federation representatives, that meet with the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee for consultation on matters of educational programs during the school year, shall submit items for the agenda that apply to Paraprofessional personnel. A Paraprofessional may sit on this committee when school problems and policies relating to their employment are to be discussed. 8.3 No paraprofessional shall engage in Federation activities during the time he/she is assigned to regular work duties unless given such prior authority by the building principal or senior school management.
