Common use of Buildings/Facilities Clause in Contracts

Buildings/Facilities. Local representatives, officers and Union staff representatives shall, with prior notice to the Employer, have reasonable access to the premises of the Employer for the purposes of administration of this Agreement. In addition, upon reasonable notice to the Employer and consistent with security, union representatives shall have access to the Employer's premises for the purpose of administration of this Agreement and membership recruitment. The State recognizes the need of local representatives, officers and Union staff representatives to access buildings/facilities with little or no notice. Therefore, the Union shall not be required to give any specific amount of advance notice.
