Common use of Bunk-houses or Similar Accommodations Clause in Contracts

Bunk-houses or Similar Accommodations. (a) In areas where a remoteness allowance has been established, or can be established in relation to a specific community, where employees are provided with living quarters but are not provided board, such employees shall receive twenty-five percent (25%) of the remoteness allowance applicable to that community. In lieu of the twenty-five percent (25%) of the remoteness allowance, employees in the listed locations will receive the following: Bisset 24.54 25.21 25.91 God’s Lake Narrows 52.28 53.72 55.20 Island Lake 50.52 51.91 53.34 Norway House 43.53 44.73 45.96 (b) where such employees are to be stationed under such conditions in a remote location on a semi-permanent basis, i.e. for a period of three (3) months or more, they shall receive in addition twenty-five percent (25%) of the remoteness allowance applicable to that community;
