Business Days; Legal Holidays. A "BUSINESS DAY" is a day that is not a Legal Holiday. A "LEGAL HOLIDAY" is a Saturday, a Sunday, a United States or Canadian federally-recognized holiday or a day on which banking institutions are not required to be open in the State of New York or the Province of British Columbia. If a payment date is a Legal Holiday at a place of payment, payment may be made at that place on the next succeeding day that is not a Legal Holiday, and no interest shall accrue for the intervening period.
