Common use of Busy Line Verification and Busy Line Verification Interrupt Clause in Contracts

Busy Line Verification and Busy Line Verification Interrupt. Each Party shall establish procedures whereby its operator assistance bureau will coordinate with the operator assistance bureau of the other Party to provide Busy Line Verification ("BLV") and Busy Line Verification and Interrupt ("BLVI") services on calls between their respective end users. Each Party shall route BLV and BLVI inquiries over separate inward operator services trunks. Each Party's operator assistance bureau will only verify and/or interrupt the call and will not complete the call of the end user initiating the BLV or BLVI. Each Party shall charge the other for the BLV and BLVI services at the rates contained in Appendix A, or if there is no applicable rate listed in Appendix A, at the rates in their respective tariffs.
