C ontract Administration Clause Samples
C ontract Administration. Owner Parties shall administer the Contract Documents during construction through Final Completion and during the one-year warranty period for correction of Work. However, Owner reserves the right to perform directly all or some of the roles, and will have all of the rights, designated for Owner Parties in the Contract Documents, including to inspections and rejection of the Work and processing and approving Applications for Payment. In the event Owner chooses to self- perform administration of the Contract Documents, Owner shall not be responsible for or have control of design, construction, means, methods, or procedures, Site safety, and shall have no control over the acts or omissions of Design-Builder, Subcontractors, Sub-subcontractors, or any other Persons performing Work. Design-Builder shall control and shall be solely responsible for safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work.
