Calculation of Service for Early Childhood Teachers. For the purpose of this clause 4, any Teacher if required by the School to do so, shall upon engagement establish to the satisfaction of the School, the length of his or her teaching service in any Pre-School, Early Childhood Services Centre (ECS Centre), Multi-Purpose Centre or in early childhood education services for children up to 8 years of age, or in the Infants Department of Schools registered or certified under the appropriate legislation in other States or Territories of the Commonwealth of Australia, and that period so established shall be taken to be the length of such service for the purpose of that employment.
