Common use of California Department of Fish and Game Clause in Contracts

California Department of Fish and Game. DFG is the agency of the State of California authorized to act as trustee for wildlife (as defined in Fish and Game Code section 1802) for the State on behalf of its residents. DFG is authorized to approve NCCPs pursuant to the NCCPA, administer and enforce CESA and other provisions of the Fish and Game Code and regulations adopted pursuant to the Fish and Game Code, and enter into agreements with federal and local governments and other entities for the conservation of species and habitats pursuant to CESA and the NCCPA.
