CANCELLATION AND NON-RENEWAL. The named insured may cancel this policy by returning it to us or by advising us in writing when at a future date the cancellation is to be effective. If only the interest of the named insured is affected by the requested cancel, then upon our receipt of a written request for cancellation, we may waive the future date requirement by confirming the date and time of cancellation in writing to the named insured.
