Common use of CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY Clause in Contracts

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY. We understand that their are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or personal obligations. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. On the other hand, a situation may arise in which another patient did not cancel their appointment appropriately, which prevented you from obtaining an appointment due to a perceived “pull schedule.” Because of this, there will be a fee of $50.00 if the office is not notified 24 hours before the appointment date you will be unable to keep.

On the other hand, a situation may arise in which another patient did not cancel their appointment appropriately, which prevented you from obtaining an appointment due to a perceived “pull schedule.” Because of this, there will be a fee of $50.00 if the office is not notified within 24 hours before the of your appointment date you will for a cancellation; this fee must be unable paid prior to keeprescheduling your appointment. Additionally, if a surgical patient cancels or no-shows their pre-op appointment, their surgery may be cancelled.
