Common use of Cancellation of Appearances Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of Appearances. Notice of cancellation will be given to employees three (3) hours prior to court or at the end of last shift prior to court. In the event that such notice is given within the three (3) hours, employees will receive two (2) hours of overtime at the rate of time and one-half. Notification to employees prior to three (3) hours will eliminate overtime compensation.
