Cancelling acceptance. The Cancellation of the place after acceptance can cause long-term loss to the School if it occurs after other families have taken their decisions about schooling for their children. A genuine pre-estimate of loss is Fees for between one and five years. Nonetheless, save where clause 9.12 or 9.15 applies, the School agrees to limit the liability of the Parents as follows: 9.13.1 if less than a Term/Month's Written Notice of Cancellation has been given and the School place cannot be filled immediately and without loss to the School, one Term/Month's Fees at the rate payable for the Term/Month of Entry, less the Acceptance Deposit, payable as a debt immediately and the School reserves the right to offset the Additional Deposit, if paid, against the Term/Month's Fees; or 9.13.2 if a Term/Month's Written Notice has been given or the School place can be filled without loss to the School, the Acceptance Deposit.
