Common use of Candles/Incense Clause in Contracts

Candles/Incense. Due to risk to life and property, candles, torches, incense and other open flame devices are strictly prohibited anywhere inside or around buildings in the Village including in Rooms and Flats. Burning of the above devices is likely to set off the smoke detectors in your Room/Flat. Should the fire brigade charge for attending a false alarm due to misuse, this cost will be passed on to the residents involved.
