CAPACITIES AND SIZES. (a) It is understood that the jurisdiction of the Union includes concrete mixers above one-half (½) yard capacity. When such mixer is used, an Engineer shall be employed. Where two (2) such mixers are operated together as a battery, one (1) Engineer shall be employed. On equipment driven by motors over five (5) horsepower, an Engineer shall be employed. The operation of power tools such as Carpenters’ saws; ▇▇▇▇-hammers used in concrete breaking; portable concrete agitators; and such portable hand tools as are operated by power are not covered by the terms of this Agreement, except as provided under Section 3 of this Agreement. It is further understood and agreed that where the jurisdiction, as set forth in Section 3 hereof, includes a concrete mixer of less than one-half (½) cubic yard capacity; equipment driven by motors of under five (5) horsepower; a boiler of fifteen (15) pounds pressure or under; a compressor used up to one (1) day; it shall not be required that an Engineer be employed.
CAPACITIES AND SIZES. (a) It is understood that jurisdiction includes concrete mixers above one-half (½) yard capacity and all concrete batch plants. Where two (2) such mixers under one-half (½) yard capacity are operated together as a battery, one (1) Engineer shall be employed. An Engineer shall be employed on all equipment driven by gasoline, electric, air, hydraulic, or diesel motor power of five (5) horsepower or over, including but not limited to: core drills, concrete pumps, all size power hoists, and boilers of fifteen (15) pounds pressure or over. An Apprentice or Oiler shall be employed on all temporary power driven heating units such as ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Nelsons, Master, Dravo, Warner, Silent Glo, and similar types, not to exceed five (5) units per man, and on all boilers of less than fifteen (15) pounds pressure. The operation of power tools such as ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ saws, ▇▇▇▇-hammers used in concrete breaking, portable concrete agitators and such hand tools as operated by power are not covered by the terms of this Agreement. It is understood that compressors and pumps are included. There shall be no restriction on the use of machinery or tools furnished by the Contractor. (b) A compressor operated into the second (2nd) day or a greater number of days shall require an Engineer. A compressor 125 CFM or under may be operated by an Oiler or Apprentice. When banked compressors are used, one (1) Engineer shall be employed on each bank. (c) Pumps of four (4) inch discharge or over, or three (3) or more pumps of less than four (4) inch discharge shall require an Engineer where pumps as designated above are used steadily into the second (2nd) or greater number of days. An Engineer shall be employed on all wellpoint pumps of over two (2) inch discharge. An Engineer shall be employed on two (2) wellpoint pumps of two (2) inch or less discharge.

  • Facilities and Services The Company shall furnish the Executive with office space, secretarial and support staff, and such other facilities and services as shall be reasonably necessary for the performance of his duties under this Agreement.

  • Responsibilities and Duties (a) As Cleveland City President, the Executive shall report to the Chief Executive Officer and will perform all duties and will have all powers associated with these positions, as set forth in any job description provided to the Executive by the Bank or as may be set forth in the bylaws of the Bank. (b) During the period of his employment hereunder, except for reasonable periods of absence occasioned by illness, reasonable vacation periods, and other reasonable leaves of absence approved by the board of directors of the Bank, the Executive will devote all of his business time, attention, skill and efforts to the faithful performance of his duties under this Agreement, including activities and duties directed by the Chief Executive Officer and the board of directors of the Bank. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, subject to the approval of the board of directors of the Bank, the Executive may serve as a member of the board of directors of business, community and charitable organizations, provided that in each case the service shall not materially interfere with the performance of his duties under this Agreement, adversely affect the reputation of the Bank or any other affiliates of the Bank, or present any conflict of interest. Nothing in this Section 1.2 shall prevent the Executive from managing personal investments and affairs, provided that doing so also does not interfere with the proper performance of the Executive’s duties and responsibilities under this Agreement.

  • Facilities and Expenses The Employer will furnish the Employee with office space, equipment, supplies, computer and facsimile equipment, telephones (including cellular telephone), and such other facilities, support staff and personnel as the Employer deems necessary or appropriate for the performance of the Employee's duties under this Agreement. The Employer will reimburse the Employee for reasonable business expenses incurred by him on behalf of the Employer in the performance of his duties; provided, that Employee furnishes to Employer documentation of such expenses as is required by the Internal Revenue Service and the Employer’s internal policies, as well as such other documentation as the Employer may request. In addition, the Employer will reimburse the Employee or otherwise provide and pay for all professional affiliation expenses incurred by the Employee that have been pre-approved by the Employer. The Employee must file authorization requests, to the extent required by the Employer's employment policies and, in all instances, expense reports with respect to such expenses in accordance with the Employer's policies.

  • Working Facilities and Expenses It is understood by the parties that the Executive’s principal place of employment shall be at the Bank’s principal executive office located in New Haven, Connecticut, or at such other Bank Board approved location within 50 miles of the address of such principal executive office, or at such other location as the Employer and the Executive may mutually agree upon. The Employer shall provide the Executive at his principal place of employment with a private office, secretarial services and other support services and facilities suitable to his position with the Employer and necessary or appropriate in connection with the performance of his assigned duties under this Agreement. The Employer shall reimburse the Executive for his ordinary and necessary business expenses attributable to the Employer’s business, including, without limitation, the Executive’s travel and entertainment expenses incurred in connection with the performance of his duties for the Employer under this Agreement, in each case upon presentation to the Employer of an itemized account of such expenses in such form as the Employer may reasonably require, and such reimbursement shall be paid promptly by the Employer and in any event no later than March 15 of the year immediately following the year in which the expenses were incurred.
