Card Scheme Rules. The Merchant may obtain information on the Card interchange fees as well as the relative rules and regulations from their respective websites (e.g. Visa - ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ / MasterCard - ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇).
Card Scheme Rules a. Bona Fide Card Transactions. You shall not submit any transaction that is not a bona fide transaction. A “bona fide” transaction means a transaction that is (i) between you and your customer, (ii) for the sale of goods and/or services (or a refund for such a sale) that are your property or that you have the legal right to sell, (iii) submitted on behalf of you (and not behalf of any third party), and (iv) legal, authorized by the customer, non-fraudulent or otherwise damaging to the Card Schemes, and is, to your knowledge, enforceable, collectible, and in full compliance with this CEA, applicable law and the Card Scheme Rules.
Card Scheme Rules. You agree that you will comply with the Card Scheme Rules, which can be found here and here. The Card Scheme Rules have precedence over these Terms with regards to the relevant payment method. We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it unless otherwise noted. If our changes reduce your rights or increase your responsibilities, we will post a notice on the Policy updates page of our website and provide you with the same length of advance notice as set forth in the PayPal User Agreement. By continuing to use the PayPal ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Services after any changes to these Terms, you agree to abide and be bound by those changes. If you do not agree with any changes to these Terms, you may terminate your use of the PayPal ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Services before such changes become effective and/or close your PayPal ▇▇▇▇▇▇ account.
Card Scheme Rules. (a) The Merchant shall comply with all applicable Card Scheme Rules. (b) The Merchant acknowledges and agrees that the Card Scheme Rules give the Card Schemes certain rights to require termination or modification of the Agreement and to investigate the Merchant. (c) The Merchant acknowledges and agrees that the Card Schemes are the sole and exclusive owners of the Card Scheme Marks, and the Merchant must not contest the ownership of such Card Scheme Marks. The Merchant must not use the Card Scheme Marks except and to the extent permitted by the Card Schemes under the Card Scheme Rules. The Merchant acknowledges and agrees that the Card Schemes may at any time immediately and without any notice prohibit the Merchant from using any or all Card Scheme Marks for any reason. The Merchant has no authority to permit the use of the Card Schemes Marks by any third party. Without limiting the foregoing, the Merchant acknowledges and agrees that 3D Secure™, MasterCard®, SecureCode™ and Verified by Visa™ are all Card Scheme Marks of Visa, MasterCard or other third parties. (d) The Merchant is entitled to request that Paysafe presents the Charges and Fees relating to the merchant service charge pricing on a MIF Plus basis, so that such Charges and Fees are broken down into interchange, Card Scheme fees and Service fees invoiced on a monthly basis. If the Merchant request this pricing basis, Paysafe is entitled to charge the Merchant an additional administrative fee as set out in the Charges Schedule. (e) The Merchant may decide not to accept certain types of Card relating to a Card Scheme. The Merchant should contact Paysafe for details of which types of Card the Merchant may decide not to accept. The Merchant shall accept all other Cards relating to the relevant Card Schemes as payment for the goods and/or services it provides. If the Merchant decides not to accept certain types of Card in accordance with this Clause 5.12(e), the Merchant shall inform its customers of the Cards it does not accept in a clear and unequivocal manner whenever it presents payment options to Cardholders, including on each Website and before accepting Mail/Telephone Transactions. (f) The Card Schemes set thresholds on the number of fraudulent Transactions and number of Chargebacks which are considered to be excessive. Card Scheme Rules. The Credit Card Scheme and/or Alternative Payment Scheme allows the Cardholder and/or Consumer and issuing Bank and/or Alternative Payment Issuer to dispute a Card Transaction. We must respond to any dispute raised by investigating and providing evidence to the relevant Credit Card Scheme and/or Alternative Payment Scheme that you conducted the Card Transaction and/or Alternative Payment Transaction legitimately.
