Discrimination. 23.1 The Contractor shall not unlawfully discriminate within the meaning and scope of any law, enactment, order, or regulation relating to discrimination (whether in race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation or otherwise) in employment.
23.2 The Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observance of Clause 23.1 by all servants, employees or agents of the Contractor and all suppliers and sub-contractors employed in the execution of the Contract.
Discrimination. Respondent and any potential subcontractors shall comply with all Federal statutes relating to nondiscrimination. These include, but are not limited to:
a) Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin;
b) Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended (20 U.S.C. §§1681-1683, and 1685- 1686), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex;
c) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. §794), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of handicaps;
d) The Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended (42 U.S.C. §§6101- 6107), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age;
e) The Drug Abuse Office and Treatment Act of 1972 (P.L. 92-255), as amended, relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of drug abuse;
f) The Comprehensive Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Act of 1970 (P.L. 91-616), as amended, relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of alcohol abuse or alcoholism;
g) Sections 523 and 527 of the Public Health Service Act of 1912 (42 U.S.C. §§290 dd-3 and 290 ee-3), as amended, relating to confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records;
h) Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. §§3601 et seq.), as amended, relating to nondiscrimination in the sale, rental, or financing of housing;
i) Any other nondiscrimination provisions in the specific statute(s) under which application for Federal assistance is being made; and
j) The requirements of any other nondiscrimination statute(s) that may apply to the application.
Discrimination. The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, harassment or coercion exercised or practised with respect to any employee by reason of age, sex, race, colour, creed, national or ethnic origin, marital status, family status, sexual orientation, disability, conviction for which a pardon has been granted, religious or political affiliation, by reason of Union membership or activity, nor by exercising their rights under the Collective Agreement.
Discrimination. 1101 The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination against any employee or applicant because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual preference, age, physical or mental disability or veteran status as provided by law.
Discrimination. Owner and MANAGEMENT do not discriminate against RESIDENT in the provision of services, or in any other manner. The property will be shown and made available to all persons without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, handicap, elderliness, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, and source of funds in compliance with all applicable federal and state and local Fair Housing laws and regulations. We rent to anyone who meets our resident screening criteria regardless of their source of funds.
Discrimination. The Service Provider must not unlawfully discriminate against any person within the meaning of the Equality Xxx 0000 in its activities relating to the Contract or any other contract with the Purchaser.
Discrimination. 15.1 The Contractor shall not unlawfully discriminate within the meaning and scope of any act of Parliament relating to discrimination in employment. The Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observation of these provisions by all the Contractor’s Personnel. The Contractor shall have proper regard to the Codes of Practice prepared and issued from time to time the Equality and Human Rights Commission or the Secretary of State
Discrimination. 19.1 The Supplier shall not unlawfully discriminate within the meaning and scope of the provisions of the Race Relations Xxx 0000, the Sex Discrimination Acts 1975 and 1986, and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (as revised, amended or supplemented from time to time) or as prohibited by the laws of the place of the performance of any of the Services.
19.2 The Supplier shall take all reasonable steps to secure that the Supplier’s Personnel do not unlawfully discriminate as set out in Clause 19.1.
Discrimination. 6.2.1 The Supplier shall not unlawfully discriminate when providing the Services under the Contract either directly or indirectly on such grounds as race, colour, ethnic or national origin, disability, sex or sexual orientation, religion or belief, or age and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the Supplier shall not unlawfully discriminate within the meaning and scope of the Equality Xxx 0000 or other relevant or equivalent legislation, or any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof.
6.2.2 The Supplier shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observance of Clause 6.2.1 by all Staff and shall comply with any Authority policy on the matters set out in Clause
6.2.1 as reasonably directed by the Authority.
Discrimination. The Contractor shall not unlawfully discriminate in employment. The Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observation of these provisions by all Personnel.
