Common use of CARPENTRY AND JOINERY Clause in Contracts

CARPENTRY AND JOINERY. PREAMBLES For preambles see "Model Preambles for Trades" (2008 Edition) and Supplementary preambles as specified in the Trades SUPPLEMENTARY PREAMBLES Supplementary preambles are incorporated in this schedule of quantities to satisfy the requirements of this project. Such supplementary preambles shall take precedence over the provisions of the said Model Preambles The contractor's prices for all items throughout this schedule of quantities must take account of and include for all of the obligations, requirements and specifications given in the said Model Preambles and in any supplementary preambles This bill is measured provisionally and will be subject to re-measure when the work or a portion thereof is complete. It is expected of the contractor to be able to demonstrate how he derived at the quantities and in cases where it is not possible to measure the work on completion due to cover up; the contractor must provide signed off site records proving such claims Joinery: Descriptions of frames shall be deemed to include frames, transomes, mullions, rails, etc Descriptions of hardwood joinery shall be deemed to include pelleting of bolt holes Carried Forward R Section No. 2 Bill No. 6 CARPENTRY AND JOINERY Amount Brought Forward R
