Central Office Initiated Transfer for School Organizational Purposes/Enrollment. A. A transfer for school organizational purposes is defined as a transfer of a bargaining unit member due to fluctuations in enrollment, movement of an entire grade level to another building, or a building closure or opening that necessitates a reorganization of grade and building assignments, or other operational exigencies. Such transfers will be made only after discussion with the affected bargaining unit member, with the reason(s) for the transfer given in writing.
