Common use of CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY NEVADA Clause in Contracts

CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY NEVADA. SENATE XXXX 26 (2017): By signing this Agreement, the CONTRACTOR provides a written certification, as a material part of this Agreement, that the CONTRACTOR is not currently engaged in, and during the Term shall not engage in, a boycott of Israel. The term “boycott of Israel” has the meaning ascribed to that term in Section 3 of Nevada Senate Xxxx 26 (2017). The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for fines, penalties, and repayment of any State of Nevada or federal funds that may arise (including those that the CITY pays, becomes liable to pay, or becomes liable to repay) as a direct result of the CONTRACTOR’s non-compliance with this Section. If, at any time during the formation or duration of this Agreement, CONTRACTOR is engaged or engages in a boycott of Israel, it will constitute a material breach of this Agreement.
