Common use of Change in Legislation Clause in Contracts

Change in Legislation. No liability shall attach to the Sellers in respect of any Claim to the extent that such Claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the claim would not have been increased) but for a change in legislation made after the date hereof or a change in the interpretation of the law after the date hereof (whether or not such change purports to be effective retrospectively in whole or in part) or if such Claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the Claim would not have been increased) but for any judgement delivered after the date hereof.

Change in Legislation. No liability shall attach to the Sellers Seller in respect of any Claim claim to the extent that such Claim claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the claim would not have been increased) but for a change in legislation made after the date hereof or a change in the interpretation of the law after the date hereof (whether or not such change purports to be effective retrospectively in whole or in part) or if such Claim claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the Claim claim would not have been increased) but for any judgement delivered after the date hereof.

No liability shall attach to either of the Sellers Purchasers in respect of any Claim claim to the extent that such Claim claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the claim would not have been increased) but for a change in legislation made after the date hereof or a change in the interpretation of the law after the date hereof (whether or not such change purports to be effective retrospectively in whole or in part) or if such Claim claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the Claim claim would not have been increased) but for any judgement delivered after the date hereof.

Change in Legislation. No liability The Seller shall attach to the Sellers not be liable: (a) in respect of any Claim claim if and to the extent that such Claim the claim would not have arisen arisen; or (or b) for any increase in the amount of a claim if and to the extent the amount of the claim would not have been increased) , but for a change in legislation made after the date hereof of this agreement or a change in the interpretation of the law Applicable Law after the date hereof of this agreement (whether or not such that change purports to be effective retrospectively in whole or in part) or if such Claim would not have arisen (or the amount of the Claim would not have been increased) but for any judgement delivered after the date hereofof this agreement.
