Change in Shift Schedule to Accommodate Training. (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of 15.03(1), the schedule of an employee who works shift work may be temporarily changed for the purpose of delivering training or professional development coursework required by the employer. In most cases, this change will require the employee to work from Monday to Friday during the length of the training. (b) Where such a change is required, the employee will be given a minimum period of notice equivalent to the number of days in the employee’s full shift rotation (days of work plus days of rest).
