Change of Schedule. (a) (applicable to full-time employees only) Where an employee's schedule is changed by the Hospital with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, she shall receive time and one-half (1½) of her regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on her next shift.
(b) (applicable to regular part-time employees only) Where a regular part-time employee's scheduled shift is cancelled by the Hospital with less than twelve (12) hours notice, she shall receive time and one-half (1½) of her regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on her next shift. (The following clause related to No Pyramiding will be incorporated into all collective agreements:)

Change of Schedule. An employee regularly assigned to work second or third shift may be scheduled to a day shift for the duration of scheduled absences such as jury duty, mandatory training and development, etc. For a single shift incident, if the employee’s rest period is impacted, the employee will be paid at the applicable overtime rate for the hours of attendance and allowed to return to work an equal amount of time after the beginning of the regular shift.
Change of Schedule. When a change to an employee’s work schedule takes place, the effective date of the new schedule will commence after the employee’s previously scheduled days of rest. Where the employee works his scheduled days of rest, the applicable overtime rates will apply.
Change of Schedule. Vacation schedules shall be included in the approved Instructional Plan and may not be changed except by mutual agreement between the College and the employee.
Change of Schedule. (a) When a change to an employee's work schedule takes place, the effective date of the new schedule will commence after the employee's previously scheduled days of rest. Where the employee works his scheduled days of rest, the applicable overtime rates will apply.
(b) The new schedule can commence on the day of work or a day of rest. Therefore, the new schedule may result in additional day(s) of rest and, accordingly, a reduction of earnings when compared to the previous work schedule. In such cases, the employee will be provided with options as to how the transition to the new schedule can take place, with the opportunity to maintain his earnings as close as possible to the original schedule within the appropriate payroll period.
Change of Schedule. A freelance shift may have the start or end time changed by 17:00 hours one (1) day previous.
Change of Schedule. A. The Employer’s right to assign Captains at any time and at different times during each twenty-eight- (28-) day police period remains unrestricted and unchallenged. Watch assignments and designated starting times shall be established and posted at the beginning of each police period and shall remain in effect for the duration of the twenty-eight- (28-) day police period, except for the following:
1. In-service training;
2. Elective training;
3. Mandatory proficiency training;
4. Pre-service training for promotion;
5. Court appearances in excess of two (2) consecutive days;
6. A situation where the Superintendent and the Mayor have determined in writing that a serious emergency condition exists; and
7. Working out of grade. However, starting times may be adjusted by the Employer (1) plus or minus three (3) hours from the designated starting time or (2) for up to seven (7) hours within the Captain’s assigned watch for circumstances not known to the Employer forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the police period.
Change of Schedule. Each employee shall be notified of any change in starting time as much in advance as possible. The Company will be deemed to have given notice when such notice has been posted, provided that the employee is scheduled to work in, or from, the location where the notice is posted at some time after the notice is posted, but at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the new starting time. At the time of notification, the proposed shift shall be clearly identified to the employee. If such notice is not given, the employee shall be credited with the hours originally scheduled, plus any additional hours, at the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate. If all hours credited are actually worked, normal overtime, penalties and premiums shall apply.
