Common use of CHANGE IN WORK HOURS Clause in Contracts

CHANGE IN WORK HOURS. ‌ If job duties change to the extent that work hours will be either added or reduced, affected employees will be provided thirty (30) days notice. In the event additional hours are added, causing the senior employee to receive health/welfare benefits, their position will not be bid unless the position is vacant. Affected employees whose hours are scheduled for reduction will have an opportunity to appeal to the Student Nutrition Director, or designee, and shall have the right to representation. A written response to the appeal will be provided to the employee; in the event the appeal is denied, reasons will be provided.
