Common use of CHANGE OF BENEFICIARY Clause in Contracts

CHANGE OF BENEFICIARY. The Owner may change any Beneficiary, unless the Beneficiary is designated as an Irrevocable Beneficiary in the previous designation, by providing a Notice to change beneficiary. A change of Beneficiary will revoke any previous designation and will take effect as of the date the Notice was signed, unless otherwise specified by the Owner, subject to any payment made or action taken or allowed before the change of Beneficiary is received by Us.
