Common use of Change of boarding to day status Clause in Contracts

Change of boarding to day status. The Parents must first obtain the express permission of the Principal in writing if the Parents or the Student wishes to change from boarding to day status or from full boarding to weekly boarding status. At the discretion of the Principal, the School has the right to postpone or refuse a transfer request and the Principal will consider the best interests of the Student and the School in reaching the decision. Any such place is subject to the availability of places. Once permission has been received the Parents must give a Term's Written Notice of the change. If a Term's Written Notice is not received the difference between the rate applicable for the current type of place and the new type of place for the next Term will be payable as a debt immediately unless the place is filled immediately and without loss to the School.
