Change of Registrar. InternetNZ operates a shared registry system for management of the .nz domain name space. It is a fundamental principle of a shared registry system that a simple mechanism exists for registrants to change registrars. If a registrant for whom you act wishes to change registrar we both agree to follow the procedure specified by us in the .nz policies.

Change of Registrar. The Registrar undertakes, upon request from the Domain Owner, to assist with the transfer of the administration of the Domain Owner’s Domain Name from one Registrar to another. The Domain Owner is thereafter customer to the new Registrar, who will be responsible for all administration of services. The surrendering Registrar shall, upon request from the Domain Owner, ensure that a unique Authorisation Code is created for the Domain Name that the Registrar administers on behalf of the Domain Owner. The surrendering Registrar shall promptly, but no later than five (5) working days after the request, provide the Domain Owner with the Authorisation Code. The recipient Registrar shall assert that the Domain Owner approves the Terms and Conditions of Registration in connection with the Change of Registrar, as well as inform the Domain Owner in cases where the change affects the Domain Owner’s .SE-DNSSEC. After performance of the Registration Service, the recipient Registrar undertakes to promptly, but no later than five (5) working days after receiving a confirmation from .SE, confirm the performed service to the Domain Owner.

Change of Registrar. 12.1 You may change registrars for an existing domain name, but only in accordance with Regulator Policy.
Change of Registrar. If You will be transferring domains to AC Web that are currently registered with another registrar, then You understand that there may be certain confirmations and procedures required by the transferring registrar in order to complete the transfer process, such as responding to e-mails acknowledging the transfer request. Due to the time constraints involved, AC Web does not recommend that You request a registrar transfer within thirty days of the expiration date of the affected domain name. You understand that transferring of a domain not owned by You results in AC Web performing customer service functions and often paying the previous registrar to transfer the domain back on behalf of the rightful owner. You agree to pay a transfer reversal Fee of $120.00 for any registrar transfer affecting a domain name for which You are not the valid owner.

Change of Registrar. The registrar must grant the licensee a right to transfer part or all of his domain names that the registrar has registered or renewed on his behalf to another registrar. The registrar must cooperate with the licensee, the new registrar and CNI for the transfer. When the new registrar initiates the requested transfer according to the applicable procedure, CNI will send an e-mail to the new registrar and the licensee. The transfer will come into effect if the licensee confirms, or does not object to, the transfer within 7 days after CNI's e-mail. If the licensee does not respond within 7 days, CNI will send a reminder by e-mail to the new registrar explaining that the transfer will only become effective if the licensee confirms the transfer to CNI by fax within 7 days after the date of the second e-mail. As a result of the transfer, the new registrar must pay to CNI the annual registration fee as soon as the transfer becomes effective. CNI will not refund the fee the old registrar paid, neither in whole or in part. The old registrar may not require the licensee to pay a fee, to give reasons for the transfer, or to give more than one month's notice for the transfer to become effective.
