For Change. Order Work directed by the Owner, where the headquarters of the Subcontractor actually performing the work is more than 100 miles from the Project Site, the Subcontractor may include in the cost of the Change Order a stipend of fifty dollars per day for each worker performing work at the Site if that worker is receiving a per diem under present company policy, not to exceed the number of workers and number of days determined by Design Professional’s decision to be attributable to the new work so ordered, so long as the number of workers and number of days attributable to any deleted work is deducted there from. No allowance for overhead or profit as set forth in Article 3.2.8 may be added to the Change Order cost on account of the stipend amount, and the full amount of the stipend must be actually paid to the eligible worker or it shall be forfeited by the Contractor and Subcontractor(s).
