Common use of Changes to Protocols Clause in Contracts

Changes to Protocols. United may change the Protocols from time to time. United will use reasonable commercial efforts to inform Participating Providers at least 30 days in advance of any material changes to the Protocols. United may implement changes in the Protocols without the consent of Participating Providers if the change is applicable to all or substantially all similarly situated providers of health care services in United’s network located in the same state as Participating Providers. Otherwise, changes to the Protocols proposed by United to be applicable to Participating Providers are subject to requirements regarding amendments in section 11.2 of this Agreement.

United may implement changes in the Protocols without the Facility’s consent of Participating Providers if the change is applicable to all or substantially all similarly situated providers facilities of health care the same type offering similar services in United’s network network, and are located in the same state as Participating ProvidersFacility. Otherwise, changes to the Protocols proposed by United to be applicable to Participating Providers Facility are subject to the requirements regarding amendments in section 11.2 9.2 of this Agreement.

United may implement changes in the Protocols without the Medical Group’s consent of Participating Providers if the change is applicable to all or substantially all similarly situated providers medical groups of health care the same type and specialty offering similar services in United’s network network, and are located in the same state as Participating ProvidersMedical Group. Otherwise, changes to the Protocols proposed by United to be applicable to Participating Providers Medical Group are subject to the requirements regarding amendments in section 11.2 10.2 of this Agreement.

Otherwise, changes to the Protocols proposed by United to be applicable to Participating Providers Facility are subject to the requirements regarding amendments in section 11.2 9.2 of this Agreement.
