CHARGING WARNING. Though we anticipate none, and have encountered no safety problems while charging the GoPed Li-ion polymer packs, there is always a remote possibility that unanticipated electrical or electronic discrepancies due to unintended uses and conditions could possibly cause a malfunction in the future without notice. Do all charging in a safe location where, should any unlikely safety issue arise in the form of smoke or fire, it will not be possible to damage property. Charging “Lithium Ion” (Li-Ion) models 1. Remove the plastic hinge pin from the bottom of the handle bar assembly. 2. Compress slide tube locking spring and hold in place. 3. Insert the handle bar assembly in the slot of the lower hinge assembly found on the body of the frame assembly at the front fork. 4. Hold the slide tube in the up position and insert the plastic hinge pin. 5. Use a hammer and a spare bolt (not provided) to get the plastic hinge pin centered in the hole so that the slide tube can slide over it and sit flush with the bearing

  • Undercharging (a) If we have undercharged you, we may recover the undercharged amount from you. If we recover an undercharged amount from you: (i) we will not charge interest on the undercharged amount; and (ii) we will offer you time to pay the undercharged amount in instalments over the same period of time during which you were undercharged (if less than 12 months), or otherwise over 12 months. (b) The maximum amount we can recover from you is limited to the amount that has been undercharged in the 9 months immediately before we notify you, unless the undercharge is your fault, or results from your unlawful act or omission.

  • Charging Sections 402 (Obligation to enter pupils for public examinations), 450 - 457 (charges), 459 (regulations about information about charges and school hours) and 460 (voluntary contributions), 461 (recovery of sums as civil debt) - 462 (Interpretation re charges) of the Education Act 1996 shall be deemed to apply to the Academy with the following modifications:

  • Overcharging (a) Where you have been overcharged by less than $50, and you have already paid the overcharged amount, we must credit that amount to your next bill. (b) Where you have been overcharged by $50 or more, we must inform you within 10 business days of our becoming aware of the overcharge and, if you have already paid that amount, we must credit that amount to your next bill. However, if you request otherwise, we will comply with that request. (c) If you have stopped buying energy from us, we will use our best endeavours to pay the overcharged amount to you within 10 business days. (d) If you have been overcharged as a result of your own fault or unlawful act or omission, we may limit the amount we credit or pay you to the amount you were overcharged in the last 12 months.

  • Internet Warnings If the Settling Entity offers for sale any of the Products to California consumers through websites such as ▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ that are not reformulated as set forth in subsection 2.2 above, it shall ensure that the required warning (with the language set forth in subsection 2.3 above) is prominently displayed to the purchaser prior to completion of the transaction without requiring the potential buyer to use considerable effort to be made aware of the health hazard advisory. The warning (or a clearly marked hyperlink to the warning using the word “WARNING”) given in conjunction with the online sale of the Products may appear either: (a) prominently placed on a webpage in which the Product’s photograph, price, or “add to cart” section are displayed; (b) on the same webpage as the order form for the Product; or (c) on any webpage displayed to the purchaser during the checkout process and prior to its completion for any purchaser with a California shipping address. The symbol “” may be placed adjacent to the signal word. The internet warning may use the Short-Form Warning content described in subsection 2.3(b). The URL "▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇.▇▇▇" in the Warning may be substituted with an equivalent reference to the official "Proposition 65 Warnings Website."

  • Load Shedding The Distributor may carry out Load Shedding in the following circumstances: (a) Maintenance of Network equipment: if the Distributor wishes to inspect or effect alterations, maintenance, repairs, or additions to any part of the Network, subject to clauses 4.6, 4.8, 4.10, and Schedule 5 as applicable; (b) Permitted by Service Standards: as permitted by the Service Standards, if the Customer has elected to receive an interruptible or otherwise non-continuous supply of electricity; (c) Compliance with instructions from the System Operator: (i) to comply with a request or instruction received from the System Operator in accordance with the Code; or (ii) if communication with the System Operator has been lost, and the Distributor reasonably believes that, had communication with the System Operator been maintained, the Distributor would have received a request or instruction from the System Operator to shed load in accordance with the Code; (d) Maintain security and safety: to maintain the security and safety of the Network in order to: (i) maintain a safe environment, consistent with the Distributor's health and safety policies; (ii) prevent unexpected short term overloading of the Network; (iii) prevent voltage levels rising or falling outside of legal requirements; (iv) manage System Security; and (v) avoid or mitigate damage to the Network or any equipment connected to the Network; (e) Compliance with the Code: to comply with the Code or the law; or (f) Other circumstances: for any other purpose that, in the Distributor’s reasonable opinion, and in accordance with Good Electricity Industry Practice, requires the interruption or reduction of delivery of electricity to any ICP.
