Overcharging. (a) Where you have been overcharged by less than $50, and you have already paid the overcharged amount, we must credit that amount to your next bill. (b) Where you have been overcharged by $50 or more, we must inform you within 10 business days of our becoming aware of the overcharge and, if you have already paid that amount, we must credit that amount to your next bill. However, if you request otherwise, we will comply with that request. (c) If you have stopped buying energy from us, we will use our best endeavours to pay the overcharged amount to you within 10 business days. (d) If you have been overcharged as a result of your own fault or unlawful act or omission, we may limit the amount we credit or pay you to the amount you were overcharged in the last 12 months.

Overcharging. 19.1 If we overcharge you due to an act or omission on our part, we will use our best endeavours to advise you within 10 business days of us becoming aware of the error. 19.2 If we have overcharged you and you have already paid your bill, we will: (a) credit the amount to your account and it will be deducted from your next bill; or (b) if you have ceased to purchase a retail service from us, repay that amount to you within 10 business days.

If You instruct Us in accordance with this clause 7.3 We will credit or repay the overpayment in accordance with Your instructions within 12 Business Days of receiving the instructions. If We do not receive any instructions from You within 20 Business Days of Us advising You of the overpayment, We will use Our reasonable endeavours to credit the amount overcharged to Your account.
Overcharging. If it is found at any time that the Authority has been overcharged for any reason and the Authority has actually paid the invoice containing such overcharge then, within 10 business days after such error has been discovered and the amount has been agreed to by the parties or determined in accordance with clause 16, the Provider must refund to the Authority the amount of any such overcharge. The Provider will issue a GST credit note in accordance with the Goods and Services Tax Xxx 0000 in order to correct the incorrect invoice. In addition, the Provider will pay interest on the overcharged amount at the interest rate calculated from the date of payment of the invoice to the date of repayment of the overcharged amount.
