Common use of Charter of Rights and Freedoms Clause in Contracts

Charter of Rights and Freedoms. 2.15.1 The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms applies to the Tåîchô Government in respect of all matters within its authority. CHAPTER 3 ENROLMENT‌ 3.1 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 3.1.1 Subject to 3.1.2, a person is eligible to be enrolled as a Tåîchô Citizen if (a) that person is (i) a Tåîchô person, and (ii) a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada; (b) that person is a Tåîchô person but as a result of adoption as a child became a citizen of a country other than Canada; or (c) that person is (i) accepted pursuant to the community acceptance process in the Tåîchô Constitution, and (ii) a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada. 3.1.2 A person is not eligible to be enrolled as a Tåîchô Citizen while that person is enrolled under another land claims agreement.
