Common use of Chartering Clause in Contracts

Chartering. Except with approval, the relevant Owner shall not enter into any charter commitment for the Ship, which is: (a) a bareboat or demise charter or passes possession and operational control of the Ship to another person; or (b) a Charter, unless the relevant Owner executes a Charter Assignment in respect of such Charter prior to delivery of the relevant Ship under such Charter to the extent that such a Charter Assignment can be obtained by the Borrower using its commercially reasonable efforts to do so.

Chartering. Except with approval, the relevant Owner shall not enter into any charter commitment for the relevant Ship (other than the Ship, ’s Charter) which is: (a) a bareboat or demise charter or passes possession and operational control of the Ship to another person; or (b) a Charter, unless the relevant Owner executes a Charter Assignment in respect of such Charter prior to delivery of the relevant Ship under such Charter to the extent that such a Charter Assignment can be obtained by the Borrower using its commercially reasonable efforts to do so.
