Check Writing Application and Checks. If you have re- quested Check writing privileges for your Account, Stifel must first approve your application. Upon such approval, we will provide you with Checks. We may refuse any withdrawal that you attempt on forms not approved by us or by any method we do not specifically permit. Each Check must be properly completed and signed by an authorized signer (as described below). In writing Checks, we strongly suggest that you date them with a current date. We will not have liability to you for paying Checks which are postdated, stale dated, or do not bear a date. If you do not wish us to pay a Check you have issued, you should place a stop payment order with us. Please refer to the Stop Payment – Checks section of this Agreement. Checks will generally not be accepted by banks outside of the United States. All Checks must be made payable in U.S. dollars.
