Child of a Fire Fighter Killed in the Line of Duty. The Chief of the Department will prepare a regulation which will give preference for appointment to the fire department a child of any fire fighter who was killed in the line of duty, provided said child meets all physical and mental qualifications for appointment and passes any examination required of applicants.
