Child Protection Support Workers. The provisions of the Collective Agreement apply to the Child Protection Support Workers except as set out below: 1. A casual employee may be scheduled to work up to twenty-one (21) hours per week; a full-time employee will be regularly scheduled to work thirty-five hours (35) per week; a part-time employee will be scheduled to work less than thirty-five (35) hours per week. 2. The casual and part-time will be scheduled so that a minimum shift will be two and one-half (2½) hours in length. 3. The normal place of work for casual, part-time or full-time Child Protection Workers will be the office location of the service team and/or the home of the client. 4. Travel time and mileage allowance for casual, part-time and full-time will be paid under the same policies that are applied to other employees. 5. The casual, part-time and full-time will be paid meals and expenses in accordance with the terms of this Collective Agreement. 6. The casual and part-time employee will be required to indicate availability for hours to work. The employee may be scheduled to work those hours as required to meet service demands. The employee may change availability any time up to the time that she is informed that she has been scheduled to work a shift.
