Common use of CITY’S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE Clause in Contracts

CITY’S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE. During the term of this Contract, the City manager or designee may from time to time designate an individual to serve as the City’s Authorized Representative (CAR) and an Assistant CAR designated to serve in that capacity in the absence of the CAR, who shall have such authority to act on the City’s behalf as the City Manager may from time to time actually delegate to such person, but in no event shall the CAR have authority to modify or terminate this Contract, or make final decisions with respect to amendments, time extensions, assignments, cost or payment adjustments or payment disputes.
