Common use of Clarification of Bids Clause in Contracts

Clarification of Bids. 32.1 To assist in the examination, evaluation and comparison of Bids, UNDP may, at its discretion, request any Bidder for a clarification of its Bid. 32.2 UNDP’s request for clarification and the response shall be in writing and no change in the prices or substance of the Bid shall be sought, offered, or permitted, except to provide clarification, and confirm the correction of any arithmetic errors discovered by UNDP in the evaluation of the Bids, in accordance with the ITB. 32.3 Any unsolicited clarification submitted by a Bidder in respect to its Bid, which is not a response to a request by UNDP, shall not be considered during the review and evaluation of the Bids.
