Opening of Bids by the Purchaser 22.1 The Purchaser will open all bids in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the time, on the date, and at the place specified in the Bid Data Sheet. No bid shall be rejected at bid opening, except for late bids, which shall be returned unopened to the Bidder pursuant to ITB Clause 20. 22.3 Bids (and modifications sent pursuant to ITB Clause 21.2) that are not opened and read out at bid opening shall not be considered further for evaluation, irrespective of the circumstances. Withdrawn bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. 22.4 The Purchaser will prepare minutes of the bid opening.

c) Arithmetical errors will be rectified on the following basis: - If there is a discrepancy between words and figures, the higher of the two shall be taken as the bid price. If there is any other discrepancy, the figure leading to the determination of the higher amount shall be adopted. If the bidder does not accept the correction of errors, as aforesaid, its bid will be rejected.
