Common use of Class II Clause in Contracts

Class II. Written notice of the nature of the offense; right for the member of the bargaining unit to have a conference with the building principal or immediate supervisor as designated in the job description in which such member shall be given the opportunity to show cause why the sanction should not be imposed; the right for the member to be represented by an individual of his/her choice; written disposition of the matter within five (5) working days from the date of the conference. Such disposition may be appealed within seven (7) calendar days to the Superintendent who shall have the authority to affirm, modify or vacate the disposition made by the principal or immediate supervisor.
