CLASSIFICATION AND REPRESENTATION. Section 1: The CITY and the UNION agree that the following classifications are represented by the UNION: Firefighter Firefighter/Paramedic Fire Engineer Fire Captain Medical Services Officer Paramedic Ambulance Operator Public Education Specialist Senior Fire Investigator Section 2: Representation by the UNION for the classifications listed in Section 1 of this Article shall cease to exist at such time that less than fifty percent (50%) of the employees so classified are members of the UNION.

(b) Assignment differential pay is a temporary monetary compensation paid to HPSA Members who are assigned to the assignment categories indicated above. ADP assignments are not promotional and therefore, no property rights exist. Employees shall only receive ADP pay for the duration of their assignment and the elimination of an ADP does not constitute a reduction in salary as defined in NRS 289.010. The parties recognize that certain specialized assignments require flexibility in work hours, locations and the sharing operational guidance during active enforcement incidents. (c) The number of required employees serving as Field Training Supervisors (FTS) will be based upon the number of projected promotions and the needs of the department. Those individuals assigned as an FTS will receive the appropriate PERS eligible ADP as defined in Section 2 (a) for the period(s) of time they are assigned and developing a Supervisor trainee, with a two (2) pay period minimum assignment. CLASSIFICATION AND REPRESENTATION. Section 1: The TOWN and the UNION agree that the following classifications are represented by the UNION: FireFighter/Paramedic FireFighter /A-EMT FireFighter/EMT Paramedic A-EMT EMT Captain (non-line) Training & Compliance Coordinator Captain (non-line) Fire and Life Safety Inspector Captain The UNION understands that the TOWN has not funded non-line positions and that the TOWN does not expect to fund non-line positions for the duration of this Agreement. In the event the TOWN elects to fund non-line positions, reference to such positions remains in this Agreement. Section 2: Additional job classifications shall be established astheybecome necessary. In the event the TOWN intends to create new job classifications that will be placed in the bargaining unit or wishes to amend the job requirements of an existing job classification within the bargaining unit, the TOWN will notify the UNION as to their proposed action and allow UNION input prior to their adoption. Where this action impacts wages or other topics subject to mandatory bargaining, the UNION has the right to negotiate such action.
