Shift Differential. A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

Shift Differential a. Any full time or part-time employee whose regularly assigned shift ends between 8:00 pm – 9:59 pm shall receive a shift differential of thirty cents ($.30) per hour for all hours worked. b. Any full time or part-time employee whose regularly assigned shift ends at 10:00 pm or later shall receive a shift differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour for all hours worked.
Shift Differential. Nurses assigned to work the second (3-11 p.m.) shift shall be paid a shift differential of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour over the hourly contract rates of pay. Nurses assigned to work the third (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.) shift shall be paid a shift differential of four dollars ($4.00) per hour over the hourly contract rates of pay. Nurses shall be paid shift differential for those hours worked on a second or third shift if two (2) or more hours are worked on the designated shift.

Shift Differential. The Employer shall pay a shift differential to an employee who works a qualifying shift. A qualifying shift means a full-time or permanent part-time shift, which starts at or after 2 P.M. and at or before 1 A.M. The Employer shall pay a shift differential on a prorated basis to an employee who works any part of a qualifying shift. The rate of shift differential pay shall be $0.625/hour for all classifications in salary grades 5 through 17. The Employer may not pay a shift differential to an employee who is on leave.
