Common use of Classification Standards Clause in Contracts

Classification Standards. A. Title 5 positions will be classified by comparing the duties, responsibilities, and supervisory relationships in the official PD with the appropriate classification and job grading standard. B. The Department will apply newly issued OPM classification and job grading standards within a reasonable period of time. The local union will be provided with copies of new standards. Current standards will be provided upon request. C. The Department will provide the Union with copies of any Department guidance provided to OPM in connection with any classification standards.
