Project Team To accomplish Owner’s objectives, Owner intends to employ a team concept in connection with the construction of the Project. The basic roles and general responsibilities of team members are set forth in general terms below but are more fully set forth in the Design Professional Contract with respect to the Design Professional, in the Program Management Agreement with any Program Manager, and in this Contract with respect to the Contractor.
Cleaning 8.1 CONTRACTOR shall, at his own expenses, at all times keep the premises free from accumulation of debris, waste materials, and rubbish, and at the completion of the work, he shall remove his tools and equipment and all surplus materials, debris, waste material, and rubbish and shall leave the premises in a neat and clean condition. If CONTRACTOR does not attend to such cleaning immediately upon request, OWNER shall have the right to have this work done by others and deduct the cost therefore from the payment due CONTRACTOR hereunder.
Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.
Debriefing In the event that a bidder is unsuccessful, the bidder may request a debriefing from IOM. The purpose of the debriefing is to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the bidder’s submission, in order to assist the bidder in improving its future bids for IOM procurement opportunities. The content of other bids and how they compare to the bidder’s submission shall not be discussed.
CLEANING UP 4.15.1 Before commencement of any on-site activities, Contractor is required to prepare and submit to the Project Manager a Construction Site Waste Reduction Plan. Failure to comply with this provision or a failure to comply with the plan itself will result in withholding of general conditions’ money from the contractor’s monthly requisition until Contractor has rectified the situation and is in full compliance with these provisions. 4.15.2 The Contractor at all times shall keep the premises free from accumulation of waste materials or rubbish. At the completion of the Work he shall remove all his waste materials and rubbish from and about. the Project as well as all his tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus materials and shall leave the premises in a clean and satisfactory condition. 4.15.3 If the Contractor fails to clean up at the completion of the Work, the State may do so as provided in Paragraph 3.4 and the cost thereof shall be charged to the Contractor.
