Common use of Client’s Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Client’s Responsibilities. Client recognizes that the value and usefulness of the advisory services provided by Betterment will be dependent upon Client’s active participation in the formulation and direction of the Account’s IPS, which requires, among other things, Client to provide true and accurate information to Betterment. Client further accepts full responsibility for all investment decisions Client makes in contravention of the investment advice Betterment provides to Client via the Website or in connection with Supplementary Services and agrees to hold Betterment harmless therefrom.
