Collection of Negligent Vehicle Impound Fees. Negligent Vehicle Impound Fees (NVIF) may be paid in person to the Chula Vista Police Department or online on the police department’s website. Proof of NVIF payment must be provided to the tow company prior to release of any vehicle.
