Collection of samples from the Railway Siding / Coal Handling Plants. (a) In case of dispatch by rail each rake of Coal supplied to the Purchaser from the Delivery Point shall be considered as a lot for the purpose of sampling. (b) Samples shall be collected from the belt conveyor at the time of loading into xxxxx. In case where automatic samplers are installed, samples shall be collected from automatic samplers. In case of where there is no belt conveyor, the samples shall be collected from the coal yard at the siding while loading from loading area. Sampling procedure shall be as per BIS norms.
