College Board’s Invitation to Academy to. Apply For Conversion to Schools of Excellence. If the College Board is interested in accepting applications to issue contracts to charter Schools of Excellence under Part 6E of the Code, and the College Board determines that the Academy meets the College Board’s and the Code’s eligibility criteria for applying to convert the Academy to a School of Excellence, then the College Board may invite the Academy to submit an application to apply for a contract to convert the Academy to a school of excellence. In accordance with the Code, the College Board shall establish its own competitive application process and provide the necessary forms and procedures to eligible public school academies.
