College Councils. 6.8.1 The Union will have representation, with vote, on the Operations Council and any similar council established by the College concerning significant instructional or administrative policy matters. Employees whose work schedule would prevent them from attending these meetings will be granted a leave of absence from regular duties without loss of pay.

College Councils. The College Councils of Modesto Junior College and Columbia College shall be organizations through which the collegial governance system of each college is coordinated. Each College Council shall provide consensus recommendations to the College President on matters of college-wide concern and to the College President and other college representatives to District Council on district-wide concerns. Each College Council shall have a definite role in recommending college budget priorities and strategic planning, in determining institutional processes and the charge and membership of certain college committees, and in initiating discussion on issues at District Council.
College Councils. Two part-time faculty members shall be elected in each College as voting members of the College Council, as outlined in the election procedure in Section E of this Article. Each part-time faculty member elected to a College Council shall have the right to participate as a non-voting member on the College Curriculum Committee recognized by that College Council.

  • Health Care The Company will reimburse the Executive for the cost of maintaining continuing health coverage under COBRA for a period of no more than 12 months following the date of termination, less the amount the Executive is expected to pay as a regular employee premium for such coverage. Such reimbursements will cease if the Executive becomes eligible for similar coverage under another benefit plan.

  • Home Health Care This plan covers the following home care services when provided by a certified home healthcare agency: • nursing services; • services of a home health aide; • visits from a social worker; • medical supplies; and • physical, occupational and speech therapy.

  • Educational Services Any service or supply for education, training or retraining services or testing including: special education, remedial education; cognitive remediation; wilderness/outdoor treatment, therapy or adventure programs (whether or not the program is part of a Residential Treatment facility or otherwise licensed institution); job training or job hardening programs; educational services and schooling or any such related or similar program including therapeutic programs within a school setting.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.
